My Approach to Fitness and Triathlon Training
I didn't start out as an active person. In fact, I spent most of my adolescence and young adulthood avoiding it. But in my early thirties, after the birth of my second child, a friend invited me to run in the annual Mother's Day race. It was 2.1 miles and despite the fact that my only running up until then was after two active toddlers - I did it and was hooked!
In my mid-forties, I added triathlon for a new challenge and now in my late 50's I have taken a twenty-five year hobby and made it my profession.
I draw heavily on my own life experience in my training approach. I know if you don't enjoy something, you won't stick with it. And for many, exercising and going to the gym is drudgery. It doesn't have to be that way!
If your goal is to improve fitness, I will create a safe and multi-faceted program, teach you proper form, and supply plenty of encouragement and fun.
